Motion Script Effects

    Add a motion script effect to a selected object. Select the name of the effect in the list of effects. These effects cannot be combined with regular fade, scale, spin, or rotate effects and a maximum of one effect can be selected. A motion script effect ignores a drop shadow effect.

    To remove an effect, select "No effect" in the list of effects.

    A motion script effect relies on Flash 5 or 6 action scripting to create the effect in the Flash movie. The effect, indicated by a blue dashed box, is not viewable in the KoolMoves editing screen or its internal player but can be viewed in the preview window associated with the motion script or in a web browser.

    To check the version of your Flash plugin, go to KoolMoves\Flash Plugin Test and follow the instructions in README.TXT. Effects requiring Flash 6 plugin will not appear in the preview window if your Flash plugin is version 5 or less.

    You can see examples of all the effects by pressing the Examples button.

    To preview the entire movie, check Preview All. Otherwise, only the selected object with the effect applied will be previewed.
